CAREER: A Kansas product who walked on prior to the 2010 season was a 26-game starter over his final two seasons... Finished in a tie for fifth place in school history with 20.5 career sacks... Helped the 2014 Senior Class finish with a 38-14 combined record over the last four years, including a Big 12-best 27-9 conference record.

Was the first Wildcat defensive lineman to earn consecutive first-team all-conference honors since 2007-08... Also an honorable mention for the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year award and candidate for the Ted Hendricks Award... Led the team in both tackles for loss and sacks... Tied for ninth in the Big 12 in sacks... Carded a season-best two tackles for loss at Iowa State... Recorded a season high seven tackles against UCLA in the Alamo Bowl... A quarterfinalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy, was an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team candidate, and a Second Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.

A Second Team All-American performer by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), Phil Steele and CBSSports.com, while he was an honorable mention pick by Sports Illustrated, after tying the school record for sacks with 11.5... Named the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year and picked up First Team All-Big 12 honors from the league's coaches, Associated Press, Sporting News, Phil Steele and Athlon... Was also an All-Big 12 performer by ESPN.com and a candidate for the Ted Hendricks Award... Finished fifth on the team with 62 tackles, while he also had 18.5 tackles for loss to rank ninth in K-State history... Ranked second in the Big 12 in both sacks and tackles for loss, while he ranked eighth and 24th in the nation, respectively... Also ranked fourth in the Big 12 and 13th nationally with a team-high four forced fumbles... Registered at least a half TFL in each regular season game... Began the season with three TFLs against North Dakota State before setting a career high with eight tackles against Louisiana... Had perhaps K-State's defensive play of the year as he stripped and recovered a fumble on a full-out dive against Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty... Tied the school's single-game sack record with three at Texas Tech... Also had two sacks against Baylor and 1.5 against Iowa State.

Registered the first full sack of his career for an 11-yard loss against North Texas and came back with a then-career-high three tackles at Oklahoma... Made two tackles and recovered a fumble against both Miami and Kansas... Carded two tackles, including a sack, and broke up a pass against Texas Tech... Batted away two other passes against Texas.

2011 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Statistics): Played in all 13 games... Recorded a half-sack against Eastern Kentucky and a solo stop against Iowa State... Also broke up a pass against Texas A&M and recovered a fumble in the Cotton Bowl.

2010: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered at St. Thomas Aquinas under head coach Mike Thomas... Was named the Eastern Kansas League Defensive Player of the Year, as well as the Kansas City Metro Defensive Player of the Year... Was a first team all-state honoree as he led the Saints to a 9-2 record and a state runner-up finish... Also lettered in basketball and track.
