Jordy Nelson Preps for Super Bowl XLV

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State fans will have the opportunity to watch one of the school’s all-time greats during Super Bowl XLV as Jordy Nelson and the Green Bay Packers square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Nelson becomes one of 18 former Wildcats to play in the biggest game in football, and one of 13 coached by Bill Snyder.
The 2007 Consensus All-American has played a big role in the Packers’ offensive success this postseason as Nelson has caught 12 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay’s three playoff wins. During the regular season, Nelson grabbed 45 receptions for 582 yards and two scores.
Kickoff for Super Bowl XLV will be at 5:30 p.m. from Cowboys Stadium. The game will be televised across the world to more than 150 million viewers on Fox.
