MANHATTAN, Kan. - For the first time ever, ESPN will film a College GameDay football commercial on a university campus, and Wildcat Nation has the opportunity to show its pride by voting in College GameDay's Fan Vote contest as the crew will make a summer visit to the institution with the most votes.

Beginning Monday, fans of more than 120 schools can vote for the chance to have ESPN College GameDay visit its college town by visiting www.GameDayVote.com, m.GameDayVote.com on mobile devices as well the official Facebook page at facebook.com/collegegameday.

Voting will begin at 11 a.m. CT on Monday and end at 11 p.m. CT on May 2. Fans are allowed one vote per day.

Excitement continues to build for the 2012 season as the Wildcats return 44 lettermen from last year's 10-3 squad and will look to continue to make daily improvement under 2011 Big 12 and National Coach of the Year Bill Snyder, who is in his 21st season overall at Kansas State.

Last year, K-State became the lone Big 12 school and one of just five across the nation to have its football team in a bowl game and win games in the NCAA men's and women's basketball and volleyball tournaments.

Kansas State returns 14 starters, eight on offense and six on defense, in 2012 while also returning its kicker, punter and long snapper. The Wildcats will be led by senior quarterback Collin Klein and linebacker Arthur Brown, both All-America candidates, while the squad also welcomes back 2011 Walter Camp All-Americans Tyler Lockett and Nigel Malone. In all, K-State returns 10 players from 2011 that earned midseason or postseason All-Big 12 honors from various media outlets.
