Spring Game to Air on 13 Stations Plus Sirius/XM

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State’s 2013 spring football game on Saturday will be broadcast live on radio over 13 stations across the state of Kansas and in the Kansas City Metro area, as well as world-wide on SiriusXM, K-State Sports Network officials announced Thursday.

The game, which will kick at 1:10 p.m., will be available on Sirius 92 / XM 190 for satellite radio subscribers. A special Purple-White pre-game show will open the broadcast at 12:45 p.m., 25 minutes prior to kick.

The voice of the Wildcats, Wyatt Thompson, and former K-State quarterback Stan Weber will call the action with Matt Walters providing updates from the sidelines.

K-StateHD.TV, which continues to lead the nation in both monthly and yearly subscribers among the CBS network, will also carry live video coverage of the game. For information on how to subscribe to the network, visit www.K-StateHD.tv.

Live Gametracker statistics and a live in-game blog of the contest will be available via the official website of Kansas State Athletics, www.k-statesports.com, while free audio play-by-play coverage is also available online.

K-State opens the 2013 season and the new West Stadium Center August 30 with a primetime, nationally-televised home game on FOX Sports 1 against North Dakota State.
