MANHATTAN, Kan. – Following a record first day of football single-game ticket sales, K-State Athletics officials have announced that only scattered singles remain for football games at Bill Snyder Family Stadium this season.

"Our fans have always meant so much to our football program, and we appreciate their loyal and caring support," said head coach Bill Snyder. "A full stadium on gameday provides a tremendous environment for our young people, and we will continue to work hard to do our part on the field and get a little better each day."

Fans can purchase the available single tickets online at k-statesports.com while supplies last as tickets range from $40 to $85 each depending on the game selected.  As previously announced, the games versus North Dakota State and Iowa State are already sold out.

Additional standing room only tickets on the northeast hill may be released for some games at a later time. Visiting teams have made their initial ticket requests and will have an opportunity to return unused tickets from their allotment up to a month before each game. Fans are encouraged to subscribe to the promotional email database at k-statesports.com to be notified if any standing room or visiting team returned tickets become available.

Fans can join the 2014 football season ticket waiting list at k-statesports.com or by calling the K-State Ticket Office at 800.221.CATS.

The Wildcats' 2013 eight-game home slate will feature five Big 12 Conference games, including matchups with Oklahoma and Baylor and the first trips to Manhattan for West Virginia and TCU.

The sold-out 2013 season opener with North Dakota State will be a special night as K-State opens the new West Stadium Center at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in front of a national television audience. The Wildcats and Bison will kick off the year at 7:30 p.m., August 30 with the fifth-annual K-State Family Reunion which will be televised nationally by FOX Sports 1.
