MANHATTAN, Kan. – After a season-opening record crowd of over 50,000 took part in the inaugural K-State Family Reunion last season, Wildcat fans are closing in on making another national statement as less than 3,500 tickets remain for the September 4 matchup with UCLA.
“We have another opportunity on September 4 to showcase Kansas State University and show the entire country the passion and loyalty of Wildcat Nation,” said Athletics Director John Currie. “Coach Snyder and our student-athletes are very appreciative of our fans and need their support, not only for one of the most exciting season-opening matchups in recent history against UCLA, but all season long.”
Fans can visit www.k-statefamilyreunion.com for more information regarding tickets to the 2:30 p.m., nationally-televised game against UCLA. They may also call 1-800-221-CATS or stop by the ticket office in Bramlage Coliseum to purchase tickets to the opener for as little as $35 or tickets for all six exciting home contests.
K-Staters are encouraged to help spread the message about the “K-State Family Reunion” as yard signs declaring “I am a proud member of the K-State Family and the Big 12 Conference” will be available for all fans. They will be available beginning August 16 in the Athletics Fan Experience and Sales office from 8 a.m., to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Fans are encouraged to pick up multiple signs to show their K-State pride and distribute them to neighbors and throughout their communities.
Also, fans are encouraged to submit their K-State family photos to the department’s Facebook page (K-State Sports) or to email@example.com as selected photos will be chosen for display on the videoboard during the UCLA game, which also will feature the annual Harley Day.
The excitement surrounding K-State football is running high with season ticket sales increasing from a year ago, and season tickets for the Wildcats’ six home games do still remain. Single-game tickets are also available for the Wildcats’ other five home contests with group rates accessible for some games and traditional promotions highlighting the schedule.
Tickets for the September 11 Missouri State game are priced at $35 (bowl/sideline) and $20 (GA/view level), while fans can also receive $10 off their Missouri State ticket with proof of purchase from a UCLA game ticket. A Wildcat four-pack is also available for $75 for both the Missouri State and Central Florida contests, while military personnel can receive a ticket for just $10 to either game. Following the 6:10 p.m., matchup with the Bears, fans will also be treated to a spectacular fireworks show to culminate the evening.
Other single-game options include a $20 ticket for K-State Alumni Association members and all young alumni for the Oklahoma State matchup if ordered prior to August 30. All tickets to the Nebraska and Texas games are priced at $75.
