MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State fans have stepped up once again to ensure that Bill Snyder Family Stadium is packed with purple for the season opener as department officials announced today that all tickets to the September 1 Family Reunion matchup with Missouri State are sold out.

The capacity crowd will be the ninth at Bill Snyder Family Stadium since the 2009 season and mark the fourth straight for a season-opener after also selling out the 2009 UMASS, 2010 UCLA and 2011 Eastern Kentucky games.

“Our fans have shown once again their passion and loyalty to K-State, and Coach Snyder, our student-athletes and our staff are very appreciative of their support,” Athletics Director John Currie said. “We have a terrific opportunity to sell out all seven home games this year and are looking forward to an exciting season in Manhattan.”

Fans still have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the six additional home games and are encouraged to act now. A very limited number of seats remain for the North Texas, KU, Oklahoma State and Texas games, while great seats are still available for the highly-anticipated matchup with Miami on September 8 and the October 27 Homecoming game with Texas Tech.

To purchase tickets fans can visit the ticket office online at www.kstatesports.com, call the ticket office by phone at (800) 221-CATS, or purchase in person at the Bramlage Coliseum Ticket Office between 8:30 a.m., and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Fewer than 500 student combo passes remain available for the season. Students interested in purchasing the remaining tickets should do so as soon as possible through their iSIS account.

K-State will hold its annual Fall Football Kickoff on Saturday as fans can enter the stadium at 5 p.m. to watch the final hour of practice. Following the workout, fans will then hear from head coach Bill Snyder and the team captains before participating in an hour-long autograph session. The west side ticket booth will be open throughout the event for fans interested in purchasing single game tickets.
