MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State fans will have numerous opportunities to preview the 2012 Wildcats prior to the September 1 football opener as Metro Sports and Cox 22 will air the Wildcats’ preseason kickoff special beginning Saturday.
The one-hour show will air on Metro Sports at 11 a.m., on Saturday and will then be replayed at 3 p.m., on Monday, August 27, at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, and again at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 31.
Cox 22 will air the preseason special on six occasions beginning at 5:30 p.m., on August 27, and wrapping up at 10 p.m. on Friday, August 31.
The 2012 Kansas State Football Preseason Special is co-hosted by the voice of the Wildcats, Wyatt Thompson, and head coach Bill Snyder and includes an inside look at the Wildcat offense, defense and special teams as well as an analysis of the upcoming 2012 schedule and individual player features.
K-State opens the season September 1 against Missouri State. The sold-out contest will kick at 6:10 p.m. and will be broadcast live on K-StateHD.TV.
While both the Missouri State and North Texas games have sold out, limited tickets still remain for the Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas games and great seats are available for the Miami game on September 8.
