MANHATTAN, Kan. - Fans tuning into K-StateHD.TV on Saturday for the Wildcats' season opener with Stephen F. Austin will be able to enjoy a secondary viewing alternative as the nation's No. 1 digital network will be providing a "QuadCast" option.
In addition to watching the live game broadcast, fans can access the "QuadCast" which will provide four unique camera views all on the same screen. At once, fans can watch the live game feed, the instant replay feed and two separate high-end camera angles from different locations inside the stadium.
Kickoff for Saturday's game with the Lumberjacks is slated for 6:10 p.m., at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. K-StateHD.TV programming will begin at 5:10 p.m., with its K-State Gameday show featuring Brian Smoller and former Wildcat great and NFL player Jon McGraw.
New in 2014-15 for K-StateHD.TV subscribers is the re-designed College Sports Live user experience which will include an all-new interactive programming guide enabling quick access to Wildcat events and videos. In addition, subscribers will have access to more than 18,000 annual live audio and video events (plus 50,000 on-demand clips) from all other institutions across the entire College Sports Live network.
Also new for this year is an improved mobile experience for users which will include live streaming with native browsers on select iOS and Android devices. Viewers can also watch live on the dedicated mobile app, K-State Gameday Live (http://www.kstatesports.com/wireless/).
