1999-2000: Shot a career-best even-par 72 during his first collegiate round at the Greg May Honda-Baylor Invitational (10/21/99)...participated in three events as a true freshman.

High School: One of the state's top performers as a prep, Soldan claimed the 1997 Kansas State Junior Amateur and the 1998 Kansas Junior Match Play title, using a birdie on the 18th hole to seal the win...claimed seven career titles at Manhattan High for Larry Becraft's Indians...won the I-70 Conference title as a freshman.
