2001-02: Reached the round of 16 at the 2002 U.S. Amateur Championships after a standout sophomore campaign...qualified for the NCAA Central Regional as an individual after seeing action in 12 tournaments...finished the year second on the team in stroke average at 74.09 over 33 rounds...recorded seven top-20 finishes, including four top 10s...tied for sixth at both the Purina Classic (10/8-10/9) and the Big 12 Championship (4/29-4/30) for best placings of the season...carded rounds of 70-75-68=213 at the Purina and 72-70-70=212 at the Big 12...posted best three-round total of the season at the Baylor Intercollegiate (10/29-10/30), shooting 75-66-69=210...second-round 66 was a 18-hole low for a Wildcat, the second-best round ever carded at K-State and a career-best...led the team in four of five tournaments during the fall.

High School: Finished sixth at the Arizona 5A State Championship with rounds of 69-73=142 as a junior...Placed fourth at the IJGT Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Fla., with rounds of 74-73-71=218...claimed a pair of national tournament titles in 1999, winning the Junior Tour Tournament of Champions at the Woodlands Golf Resort in Houston and the JGAA Spring Classic in Phoenix...claimed the 144-participant Antigua-Milt Coggins title at Encanto Golf Course in Phoenix with rounds of 70-66-69=205...named best of the rest by the Arizona Republic...high school coach was David John.
