2000-01: Set a personal and school record low round of 7-under-par 64 at the Branson Creek Invitational (4/14-15/01) and had his best finish of his collegiate career when he tied for third...had his career low three-round total at Southwest Classic (2/19-20/01)...captured the 91st Kansas Amateur Championship at Mission Hills Country Club (7/17-22/01)...first Wildcat to win the title since Kansas Golf Hall of Famer Jim Colbert...became the third golfer in Wildcat history to play in the United States Amateur Championship.

1999-2000: Increased his playing time considerably in 2000, participating in five events including the last four of the spring season...tallied the first top-10 finish of his young career with rounds of 75-72--147 to finish tied for seventh at the Northern Invasion Intercollegiate (2/28/00)...was third on the team in stroke average last spring at 76.1...top putter on the squad at 30.11 putts per round.

1998-99: Competed in his first collegiate tournament at the Wildcat Intercollegiate ...participated as an individual, shooting rounds of 75-77-77=229 to finish tied for 36th.

1997-98: Redshirt season.

High School: Four-year golf letterwinner who was a two-time regional champion ... finished in the top five at the Kansas state meet as a senior...won the Larry Dee Williams Award for the Most Valuable Player on the golf team...sank a putt on the 18th hole to claim the Kansas State Championship in Class 4A for his team in 1996...was a four-time all-state selection in golf...two-year starter on the basketball team, helping the Holton Wildcats to a sub-state appearance in 1997...three-year member of National Honor Society.
