Wood is the first Wildcat to earn a Regional bid since 2010

2012-13: Competed in a team-high tying 12 tournaments after returning to K-State from a two-year long church mission in the Dominican Republic... Tallied one top-five, one top-10 and two top-20 finishes as a junior... Recorded the second-lowest stroke average (73.47) on the squad... Carded a 2-over 215 to tie for 20th place in the 2012 Shocker Classic... Tied for 22nd in the 2012 St. Mary's Invitational... Notched best finish of the season in the 2012 Jim Colbert Intercollegiate where he tied for second place after firing a 4-over 220... Fired a team-low tying 18-hole score of 65 in the first round of the 2012 Pacific Invitational, where he tied for 21st... Notched a 2-over 218 in the WSU Snowman Getaway to finishing in a tie for 21st place... Competed in the 2013 Big 12 Championship where he carded an 18-over 228 to tie for 31st place.

2008-09: Played in four tournaments during the fall season... Finished the season with a 74.83 stroke average, fifth best on the team... Carded his season best three-round score of 9-over par 225 at the Cardinal Classic and tied for 56th place... Was also a member of the teams that took second place at Wolf Pack Classic and the Santa Clara Invitational.

2007-2008: Made every trip of the spring, competing in the scoring lineup three times...Carded a season- and career-best 67 while competing as an individual at the Ron Moore Invitational... Also set his personal marks for 36-holes (138) and 54-holes (214) at the Ron Moore Invitational and was the top unattached player... Finished the regular season with a 74.95 stroke average, fifth best on the team... Posted a pair of top-10 finishes (Colbert Intercollegiate, Missouri Tiger Intercollegiate)... Completed in two events during the fall, one as a member of the K-State lineup... Led all Wildcat golfers with a 72 in the opening round of the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate, his first round of collegiate golf... That round was his lowest of the fall and part of his low 52-hole score of 220... Finished eighth at the Colbert Intercollegiate... Joined the K-State scoring lineup for the Wolfpack Classic.

High School: Lettered four years for the Rangers under head coach Brady Mayo at Vista Ridge... Holds four individual school records, including lowest two-day score of 139... Also led team to the lowest team score in school history (284) with an individual round of 69... Earned all-district honors all four years, including runner-up finishes in 2004 and 2006... Led team to district championship in 2005 and 2006... Named to the all-region team in 2005 and 2006, and also won th team leadership award those years... Tied for third as a senior at the Texas 4A state tournament with a 139 (70-69)... Ranked No. 48 in the class of 2007 according to Golfweek... Also lettered three years in cross country... Has also had success as an amateur, finishing fourth at both the Texas Junior Golf Tour Championship, as well as the AJGA Medicus Preseason Junior... Also registered top-10 finishes at the Texas-Oklahoma Junior, AJGA Valero Texas Open Junior Shootout, and the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship... Set personal career low at the U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier by firing a 6-under par 65.
