Was also a member of the teams that took second place at Wolf Pack Classic and the Santa Clara Invitational.
High School: Lettered four years for the Rangers under head coach Brady Mayo at Vista Ridge... Holds four individual school records, including lowest two-day score of 139... Also led team to the lowest team score in school history (284) with an individual round of 69... Earned all-district honors all four years, including runner-up finishes in 2004 and 2006... Led team to district championship in 2005 and 2006... Named to the all-region team in 2005 and 2006, and also won th team leadership award those years... Tied for third as a senior at the Texas 4A state tournament with a 139 (70-69)... Ranked No. 48 in the class of 2007 according to Golfweek... Also lettered three years in cross country... Has also had success as an amateur, finishing fourth at both the Texas Junior Golf Tour Championship, as well as the AJGA Medicus Preseason Junior... Set personal career low at the U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier by firing a 6-under par 65.
