Rounding out the Wildcats' lineup, David Klaudt shot a 16-over par 160 on the day. He tallied a 9-over par 81 in Friday's initial round, and a 7-over par 79 in round two to enter Saturday's third round in 45th place.

No. 15 Texas A&M currently leads the Championship field, carding a 6-over par 582 on the day. Oklahoma's Abraham Ancer sits atop the individuals after shooting a 3-under par 141 on Friday. Ancer obtained an on-par 72 in round one, and finished the afternoon with a 3-under par 69.

"I know the guys are going to battle hard these last 36 holes," Norris said. "We will see what they can do. It is a short turn around and we will get back out there tomorrow."

The third round of the Big 12 Championships, hosted by the University of Oklahoma, will tee-off from No. 1 and No. 10 tees on Saturday at 8 a.m., before Sunday's final round. K-State has been paired with Baylor, Iowa State and Oklahoma State on Saturday, with the Wildcats' tee-times beginning at 8 a.m. from hole No. 10.
