K-State Announces WBB Season Ticket Packages

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Season tickets for Jeff Mittie’s first season at the helm of the K-State women’s basketball program will go on sale Monday, June 23, exclusively online at kstatesports.com, athletics officials announced on Tuesday. The 2014-15 home schedule will feature 19 home games including, two exhibition games, eight non-conference games and nine Big 12 contests. Season tickets begin at just $3 per game when fans purchase a Wildcat 4Pack of four or more general admission tickets for $50 each.

Other season ticket options include Reserved Bench and Cat Cushion tickets at $99 per seat, as well as Chairback seats for $132 each (plus a $50 donation per season ticket account to the Ahearn Fund). For the third straight year, K-State football and men’s basketball season ticket holders can purchase general admission season tickets for just $20 each, a significant discount at just $1.25 per game.

A limited number of premium courtside and floor-level seats are also on sale for $165 each, with per-seat Ahearn Fund donations of $500 required for courtside tickets and $100 for floor-level seats.

K-State faculty and staff can purchase discounted season tickets in the Chairback sections at $110 each and Reserved Bench/Cat Cushion sections at $79 per ticket.

Any season ticket holder who purchases tickets on Monday will receive a one-time use promotional code for 20 percent off at the K-State Online Store and be entered into a drawing to win one of the following prizes: one-year subscription to K-StateHD.TV, honorary coach for a game, a 2014-15 autographed poster, a Bramlage Coliseum loge box party for 10 during a non-conference game or a 2014-15 season parking pass.

For the second straight year, chair back season ticket holders will receive exclusive benefits at each game they attend. Included in the ticket book will be coupons for each home game redeemable at Bramlage Coliseum for 19 specific benefits including exclusive giveaways, free and discounted concessions, free parking, exclusive event invitations and more.

All women’s basketball season ticket holders can participate in the roll-over ticket program for the upcoming season. Fans may redeem unused game tickets for general admission seats to future games by mailing their unused tickets to the ticket office, by visiting the K-State Ticket Office in advance or by bringing their unused tickets to the game they want to attend.
 
Fans who order season tickets by the early bird deadline of Friday, July 11 will receive a one-time use promotional code for 10 percent off at the K-State Online Store as well as having the $10 handling fee waived. They will also be entered into a drawing for one of the following prizes: a 2014-15 autographed basketball, a 2014-15 autographed and framed poster, official Nike gear, an invitation for two to the postseason banquet or two all-session tickets for the 2015 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship in Dallas, Texas.

Payment plans for season ticket purchases by credit card are available, including a six-month payment option for fans purchasing tickets by July 11, while orders by the August 1 priority deadline may be enrolled in the five-month payment plan. Credit card payment plans can be coordinated through the online renewal applications on www.k-statesports.com for returning season ticket holders, or by calling the ticket office at (800) 221-CATS for all renewal and new customers.

Kansas State finished the 2013-14 season ranked 23rd in the nation in average attendance with 4,484 fans per game coming through the turnstiles. It was the 11th time in the last 13 seasons that K-State has finished among the top-35 in the nation in average attendance.
 
Under Mittie, Kansas State will feature a roster of 10 returning letter winners and four newcomers. The Wildcats will be paced in the 2014-15 season by seniors Ashia Woods and Haley Texada and sophomores Breanna Lewis and Kindred Wesemann. Woods enters her final season with the Wildcats as K-State’s top returning scorer following a career-high effort in 2013-14.
