2013-14 Kansas State Women's Basketball Schedule
MANHATTAN, Kan. - Before the Kansas State women's basketball team begins its 10-day, three-game trip to Italy on Friday, the Big 12 Conference announced the league slate on Wednesday afternoon for the 2014 league season.
K-State will open its 2014 Big 12 schedule on Thursday, Jan. 2, against reigning Big 12 champion, Baylor. The Wildcats will play five home games in the month of January and will have consecutive home games twice during the slate.
K-State's remaining Big 12 home schedule is as follows: Oklahoma State (Jan. 8), Iowa State (Jan. 18), Kansas (Jan. 25), Oklahoma (Jan. 29), Texas (Feb. 12), Texas Tech (Feb. 15), West Virginia (Feb. 22) and TCU (March 3).
The Wildcats' will play three of their first five games on the road and three of their final five away from Bramlage within the league. K-State's Big 12 road schedule unfolds as follows: at Texas (Jan. 5), at Oklahoma (Jan. 11), at Texas Tech (Jan. 14), at Baylor (Jan. 22), at Iowa State (Feb. 1), at West Virginia (Feb. 8), at TCU (Feb. 19), at Kansas (Feb. 26) and at Oklahoma State (March 1).
The 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship will be contested March 7-10, at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The game times, promotional and television schedules will be released at a later date.
The Wildcats will depart this Friday for a 10-day, three-game trip through Italy. Game recaps will also be available following the three games, which will be contested on Aug. 11, Aug. 12 and Aug. 17.
Season ticket prices for the 2013-14 K-State women's basketball season begin at just $3 per game when fans purchase a Wildcat 4-Pack of four or more general admission tickets for $50 each. Other season ticket options include Reserved Bench and Cat Cushion tickets at $99 per seat, as well as Chairback seats for $132 each (plus a $50 donation per season ticket account to the Ahearn Fund). Chairback season-ticket holders will receive a unique benefit for each home game including free parking, free and discounted concessions, exclusive invitations, and more. For the second straight season, K-State football and men's basketball season ticket holders are eligible for a significant discount on general admission season tickets, which can be purchased for just $20 each, a price of just $1.25 per game.
All women's basketball season ticket holders can participate in the roll-over ticket program for the upcoming season. Fans may redeem unused game tickets for general admission seats to future games by mailing their unused ticket or tickets to the ticket office, by visiting the K-State Ticket Office in advance to swap tickets or by bringing their unused tickets to the game they want to attend.
K-State faculty and staff can purchase discounted season tickets in the Chairback sections at $110 each and Reserved Bench/Cat Cushion sections at $79 per ticket. A limited number of premium courtside and floor-level seats are also on sale for $165 each, with per-seat Ahearn Fund donations of $500 required for courtside tickets and $100 for floor-level seats.
