K-State in 11th at Juli Inkster

SAN JOSE, Calif.—The Kansas State women’s golf team sits in 11th place after the first day of the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational at the par 72, 6,180-yard Almaden Golf and Country Club Monday. The Wildcats bettered their strokecount by 13 in the second round to finish the day with a 36-hole score of 43-over par 619. “It was a rough start on the greens in round one, but we bounced back in round two,” said head coach Kristi Knight.
