Athlete Q&A
What does K-State Rowing mean to you?
It is difficult to put into words what K-State Rowing has meant to me because there is so much that it encompasses. I have always been extremely passionate about sports, so I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to continue to compete and improve in a team environment at a Division I university. I'm so thankful for the opportunities this team has given me and know these experiences will stay with me long after my college days.

How do you balance school, rowing, and a social life?
I can confidently say my life in college has been far from mundane. I've learned the importance of dedication, organization, and time management by balancing rowing with academic and social commitments. Although my busy schedule can be challenging at times, I wouldn't trade these experiences for anything.

How is K-State different from other colleges you looked at?
K-State is different from other colleges because of its friendly and accepting environment and the loyalty of the students and alumni. When I came to K-State, it was apparent that I was valued as an individual, and my years here have done nothing but validate my initial impression.
