Athlete Q&A
What has rowing taught you about yourself?
Rowing has taught me that I can push myself harder and further than I ever thought I could, mentally and physically.

How is rowing different than other sports you've been involved in?
On our team, we compete against each other and for each other. I am constantly battling to beat myself, whether it be a faster 2K time or performing a heavier lift, every practice. I am also competing against my teammates to beat their times. However, at the end of the day, we are a TEAM. We kill ourselves together on the ergs and we push each other to give 110% all the time. I have never participated on a team that cares about and respects each other as much as this team. The best way to describe it is, "There's no fam like row fam!"

What is your favorite memory from this past season?
My favorite memory of this past season was when K-State made a clean sweep of the gold medals in every event at SIRAs.
