AS A SOPHOMORE (2001): Saw action in 25 matches and 78 games as a defensive specialist... Made five starts during the year... A member of the Academic All-Big 12 first team...Played in 11 straight matches to start the season... Tallied 124 digs during the season with an average of 1.59 per game... Posted five double-digit dig totals, including a season-high 19 in the Wildcats' four-game loss at No. 14 Texas A&M (Oct. 22)... Registered five or more digs on 12 occasions... Collected 18 service aces during the season for an average of 0.23 per game... Helped Fowler to three consecutive 2A State Championships after being the runner-up for the title in 1996... Led the Grizzlies to a 91-0 overall record the last three years... Helped Fowler to district and regional championships each of her four years of high school... Named first team all-state by the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post as a senior... Selected second team all-state by the Rocky Mountain News as a junior... Earned honorable mention all-state by the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post her freshman and sophomore seasons...
