Played 111 sets at middle blocker tallying 145 blocks for an average of 1.31 per set to lead team... ranked second in Big 12 Conference in blocks... posted a career-high 13 block assists in win at Kansas to rank third in school history for a five-set match... also had eight kills and a .389 hitting percentage in win over KU... averaged 1.77 kills per set on a .240 hitting clip... tallied five or more blocks in 13matches... pounded career-high 12 kills in win over Kansas at home to go with nine blocks and .500 hitting percentage... followed that performance with eight kills on 12 swings and seven blocks at Texas Tech... was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in wins over KU and Texas Tech... Academic All-Big 12 First Team.

Freshman (2009):
Played in 57 sets moving into the starting lineup midway through the season... had break through match at Colorado (10/21) with 11 kills and one error to hit .435 while adding two block assists... had a season-high seven blocks in win over Texas Tech (11/8)... averaged 0.75 blocks per set while averaging 1.25 kills for the season.

High School (2005-09):
Lettered four years for Concordia helping guide team to league title and Sub-State championship as a senior... First Team All-State as a senior along with All-State Tournament Team... two-time North Central Kansas All-League... also lettered four years in basketball and track and field... two-time all-league in basketball... team won state title senior year... track team won five straight state championships... ran leg of 4X400 relay team that won three consecutive state titles also setting state record each year... won 100 meter hurdles state championship three years in a row.

Alex Muff was born August 29, 1991... daughter of Kevin and Kim Muff... has two sisters, Skyler and Taylor... father played basketball at K-State and was a teammate of current K-State assistant coach Brad Underwood... father is men's basketball coach at Pittsburg State after previously holding head coach position at Cloud County CC.
