Letterwinner in volleyball all four years at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa... Four-year starter for the Yellow Jackets... The first Division I recruit for Thomas Jefferson... Selected four times as a member of the Omaha World-Herald All-Western Iowa team... Twice named as honorary captain of the team... One of just 32 players in the state of Iowa selected for the All-Star Classic... Named first team all-state her senior season... Finished third in the state with a 5.80 kills/game average, while adding a .366 hitting percentage, 1.90 blocks/game and 2.40 digs/game... Twice selected the City Player of the Year... Elected to the all-state third team as a sophomore and junior and an honorable mention pick as a freshman... A four-time first team selection to the all-city, All-Missouri River Conference, all-metro, All-Southwest Iowa, all-district and all-area teams... Broke school records for kills (1,824), kills/game and kill efficiency during her career... Jamie Marie Perkins was born June 25, 1984, in Council Bluffs, Iowa ... The daughter of James Perkins and Jacque Turk... The second youngest of four children... Has four brothers, Robby Turk, 28, Mike Perkins, 23, Brian Turk, 23, and Joe Perkins, 8 ... Is majoring in Pre-Health Professions with intentions to go to medical school.
