• The Wildcats have won 12 consecutive matches to open the season, extending the best start to a season in school history… 10 of those wins are in 3-0 sweeps, K-State had 7 3-0 wins all of last season.
• Saturday’s contest was the second meeting between K-State and Dayton… K-State
is now 2-1 against the Flyers and 11-3 against current members of the Atlantic 10 Conference… Head Coach Suzie Fritz is 2-0 against Big Ten teams
• The Wildcats’ starting lineup Saturday night consisted of senior setter  Caitlyn Donahue,
junior defensive specialist Tristan McCarty,  senior opposite Kathleen Ludwig,  junior outside hitter Lilla Porubek,  junior middle blocker Kaitlynn Pelger, junior outside hitter Dakota Kaufman and senior libero Kuulei Kabalis… This is the fourth time K-State has used this line-up this season… K-State is 4-0 with this starting lineup.

Team Notes
• K-State hit .352 percent for the match (46-9-105)… This is the fourth match this season K-State has hit .300+ as a team.
• K-State is ranked No. 19 in the AVCA Preseason Coaches Poll… The Wildcats are now 209-90 (.699) when playing as a ranked team.
• The win over No. 20 Dayton is the second against a ranked opponent this season for K-State… The Wildcats also are now 2-0 all-time in matches against teams ranked No. 20.
• Dayton entered the contest ranked No. 24 in the NCAA in team hitting percentage at .275… K-State limited the Flyers to hitting just .155 (37-20-110)… This is the 10th time this season K-State has held its opponent under .200 hitting.

Individual Notes
Kaitlynn Pelger had one of her best performances of the year with 19 kills on .654 hitting… She added 6 digs, 2 aces and 2 blocks.
Kuulei Kabalis tallied 13 digs to lead the Wildcats while Tristan McCarty added 10 and Gina Madonia had 5 digs to help hold the back row defense together.
Caitlyn Donahue posted 41 assists, 7 digs, 4 blocks and an ace.
Alex Muff had 7 kills and a .556 hitting percentage to go with 2 blocks.
Lilla Porubek posted 9 kills on .364 hitting along with 4 digs.
