MANHATTAN, Kan. – Wildcat Volleyball Camps will host a Coaches Clinic, open to all volleyball coaches, on March 28 and 29 in Ahearn Field House. The clinic will feature 12 hours of instruction by the K-State Volleyball coaching staff as well as one session by guest presenter, Creighton Volleyball head coach Kirsten Bernthal-Booth.
The two-day clinic will have nine educational sessions, which include instruction by K-State head coach Suzie Fritz, K-State associate head coach Jeff Grove, K-State assistant coach Jeff Hulsmeyer, K-State Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports Danny Cavender, K-State Director of Sport Psychology Ian Connole and Creighton’s Bernthal-Booth. The clinic will also have three observations of K-State practices. Scheduled clinic times are from 10:45 am-6:30 pm on Friday, with check-in set for 9:30-10:30 am, and 9 am-12 pm on Saturday. Participants will receive a clinic manual (via email) and DVD after the clinic is complete.
There is also an optional bonus session on March 29 to observe a best-of-three scrimmage between K-State and Creighton from 1-2:30 pm.
Cost for the clinic is $135 per coach. For two coaches from the same school and district, cost is $255, and for three coaches, it is $360 total. For each additional coach after three from the same school and district, it is $100 per coach.
