MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Early Bird Deadline for 2014 K-State Volleyball season tickets is drawing near, and fans are encouraged to purchase by the May 30 deadline to receive exclusive benefits.
Fans that purchase season tickets, which start as low as $2.50 per match with the Wildcat 4 Pack, by this Friday will have the $10 processing fee waived as well as receive other season ticket holder benefits, such as an invitation to the season ticket holder appreciation event and participation in the roll-over ticket program, which allows fans to redeem unused tickets for general admission seats to future matches.
Chairback season tickets are $100 and available to Ahearn Fund members only. The chairback season tickets are expected to sell out for the fourth straight year, so interested fans who are not already members of the Ahearn Fund are encouraged to join for as little as $50. Other seating sections at Ahearn Field House include Cat Cushion (south balcony only) and General Admission bench. Cat Cushion season tickets are $65 for adults and $55 for youth, senior citizens, military and Kansas State University faculty/staff. General Admission tickets are $50 for adults and $40 for youth, senior citizen, military and Kansas State University faculty/staff. Wildcat 4 Packs, which include four General Admission tickets to each home match, are $120.
The Priority Seating deadline is June 30, which means fans that purchase by this date will receive first priority for requested seats, based on athletic department priority point order.
Season tickets are available at www.kstatesports.com/tickets, by calling the K-State Ticket Office at 1-800-221-CATS (2287), or stopping by in-person at the Bramlage Coliseum ticket office from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 pm Monday through Friday.
K-State has been among the top schools in the country in attendance, ranking 18th last year in average attendance with 2,214 fans per game. Of the 13 home matches in 2013, seven saw an attendance of more than 2,100, including two matches with 3,000 or more fans. The Wildcats have been among the nation's top 25 in attendance for the last five years.
The 2014 season gets underway on August 29 with a two-day tournament at Green Bay while the home portion of the schedule starts on Thursday, September 4 with a match against Arkansas to kick off the three-day K-State Invitational in Bramlage Coliseum.
