Grogan retired from the NFL following the 1990 season after an illustrious career with the New England Patriots.

Grogan held nearly every New England career passing record, including yards (26,886) and touchdowns (182). He joined the team as a rookie in 1975 and led the franchise to its first Super Bowl appearance in 1986.

At the time of induction, Grogan stood ninth on K-State’s career list for total offense and 11th in passing yards.

A native of Ottawa, Kan., Grogan is a member of the K-State Sports Hall of Fame (1995) and was inducted into the State of Kansas Sports Hall of Fame in 1999.
