RENEWAL NOTICE. K-State Athletics will send a renewal notice via email to student pass holders each spring following the conclusion of the men's basketball season. This renewal notice will specify any changes to the price for the upcoming academic year. K-State Athletics reserves the right to introduce new pricing and benefits before each season.
OPT-OUT. Student pass holders will have a minimum of thirty (30) days after receipt of the renewal notice to opt-out of their student pass for the upcoming academic year. To request opting-out at any time before the deadline, email students@kstatesports.com. Any student who opts-out of the next academic year will retain their current pass for the remainder of the current academic year and any outstanding or future payments relating to the current season must be paid by the student. If notice of cancellation is not received by K-State Athletics within the time frame specified above, the student's pass shall be automatically renewed for the upcoming academic year and the student's first payment shall be due in accordance with the payment plan selected at the time of purchase.
All student pass sales are final and no refunds or exchanges will be made. K-State Athletics reserves the right to cancel a student's pass for any reason. K-State Athletics will automatically charge the student's university account or credit/debit card in accordance with the payment schedule set by K-State Athletics each academic year.

Why? Student passes offer a considerable discount over public season tickets with the average value of a student season ticket for both sports at $2,600. For comparison, a football season ticket holder pays $750 for a midfield seat and a men's basketball season ticket holder pays $1,861 for a midcourt seat. Student passes are offered at less than $350 - despite the value exceeding $2,600 per pass. To ensure student pass prices remain low and to ensure the maximum number of K-State students can sit in the student section each game, transferring a student athletic pass is not allowed.
The resale or attempted resale of student passes or claimed tickets is expressly prohibited. Unauthorized resale of student tickets may result in the cancellation of season tickets or single game tickets, cancellation of tickets already purchased without refund, and the loss of student pass privileges.
Only one Student Athletic Pass may be ordered per student. The only exception is for married students. If the spouse is NOT a student, the enrolled student may purchase one additional pass after proof of marriage is brought to the athletic ticket office beginning August 1, 2026. Spouse passes must be paid immediately in full with cash, credit card, or check. A marriage certificate is required for proof of marriage.

Some iPhones will notify you to access your pass. In that case, tap on the notification to pull up your pass. At the gate, present your pass to the attendant by holding your smartphone near the ticket reader. It's that easy. All students enter football stadium Gate G. ICAT ticket holders may enter beginning two hours prior to kickoff. All other students begin entering one hour and 45 minutes prior to kickoff. All students enter basketball coliseum at the southeast entry. ICAT ticket holders may enter beginning one hour prior to tip-off. All other students begin entering 45 minutes prior to tip-off. Here are a few tips to keep in mind for access on gamedays:
Make sure that your phone is fully charged prior to leaving for the game.
Screenshots of tickets will not be accepted for entry. Be sure to add your ticket to your wallet.
If you have issues on gameday, please stop by the East Side ticket office (located between Gates F and G) on football gamedays or the Northwest ticket office (located at the northwest entrance) on basketball gamedays.
Contactless tickets are individually coded allowing one entry per pass. Any attempts to duplicate, alter or sell copies of a student mobile pass may result in admittance being refused to the event and cancellation of the pass from the student's account. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.
Your student athletic pass is a non-transferable ticket. The pass cannot be transferred from the purchaser to another person. Due to the significant discount in ticket prices for students and to ensure the maximum number of K-State students can sit in the student section each game, passes must be used by the K-State student who purchased the pass. Passes will be delivered via mobile devices. The resale, or attempted resale, of student passes through means other than those specifically provided by the K-State Ticket Office is expressly prohibited. Unauthorized resale of student passes may result in the cancellation of season tickets or single game tickets, cancellation of tickets already purchased without refund, and the loss of student pass privileges.
Your claimed ticket will work a lot like Apple Pay. When you add your claimed ticket to your Apple Wallet for the first time this season, you will be prompted by your Apple device to verify your identity (using Face ID, Touch ID, or your password). Once you have verified your identity and added your ticket or ICAT t-shirt voucher to your mobile wallet, your K-State Athletics ticket account will be bound to your Apple iCloud account. Your K-State Athletics ticket account can only be bound to one Apple iCloud account. This creates a secure connection between your K-State Athletics ticket account and your Apple iCloud account. Sharing logins, screenshots, emails, or texts with ticket links will result in disabled passes and will NOT grant entry on game day. DO NOT share your eID login information with anyone. If someone else downloads your Student Athletic Pass to the Apple Wallet on their device and you have not yet bound your K-State Tickets account to your iCloud account, your K-State Tickets account will be bound to their Apple iCloud account. If this happens, you will be UNABLE to access your Student Athletic Pass on your device. In the event that your account becomes bound to someone else's device, the K-State Athletic Ticket Office can unbind your account for a fee. At this time, the changes detailed above only affect iPhone users and only affect Student Athletic Passes.
No. Student mobile passes are customized for your smartphone to be used by ticket readers at the student gate. Pedestal scanners have been added at the entry point for more efficient entry to the student section and aid in the mobile pass process.
Only those students with a claimed mobile ticket can enter on gameday. Students will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis based on availability and demand. Once capacity in the student section has been reached, students will be redirected to standing room only sections, if available.
On football gamedays, ICAT members can begin entering Gate G two hours prior to kickoff. All other student pass holders begin entering the gates one hour and 45 minutes prior to kickoff.
On men's basketball gamedays, ICAT members can begin entering the southeast doors one hour prior to tip-off. All other student pass holders begin entering the gates 45 minutes prior to tip-off.
Students who need special assistance with the mobile pass process should contact the K-State Ticket Office at 1-800-221-CATS or email students@kstatesports.com.
No Student Fees!
K-State Athletics is the only athletics program in the state of Kansas and one of only a few in the country to operate with no direct or indirect university and student funding or state support. K-State Athletics, in conjunction with the Student Governing Association (SGA), ended its annual receipt of student privilege fees in 2018-19.
The department also supports the K-State Marching Band with an annual payment of $400,000 plus additional operational expenses totaling more than $1 million annually, while it contributed more than $10 million in total payments to the University base budget for tuition and fees and annual institutional support fees. Student passes offer a considerable discount over public season tickets with the average value of a student season ticket for both sports at $2,600. Student passes are offered at less than $350 - despite the value exceeding $2,600 per pass.
