?The Wildcats had their 58-game home-winning streak vs. unranked opponents snapped today.
?K-State dropped back-to-back games for the first time since 1998 when the 'Cats were upended by Texas A&M (Big 12 Championship) and Purdue (Alamo Bowl). KSU has now lost two straight regular-season games for the first time since 1994 (17-6 vs. Nebraska, 10/15/94, 35-21 at Colorado, 10/22/94). This marks the first time since 1992 that K-State has opened the conference slate 0-2.
?K-State was shutout during the first half for just the second time in the past five seasons (19-0 at Texas A&M, 10/28/00). The Wildcats have not trailed at the half in Manhattan since 1993 (9-0 vs. Colorado, 10/23/93). In fact, since the beginning of the 1991 season KSU has gone scoreless in the first half just seven times (12-0 at Colorado, 11/16/96, 14-0 at Cincinnati, 14-0, 9/9/95, 30-0 at Colorado, 10/24/92, 21-0 at Oklahoma, 11/2/91).
?Colorado snapped its four-game losing streak to K-State and run its series-leading record to 40-16-1.
?Kansas State had its 18-game streak of rushing for over 100 yards snapped today.
Individual Notes
?Jon McGraw intercepted his second pass of the season and the seventh of his career in the second quarter. McGraw has averaged 27.5 yards per interception return this season and 18.4 yards per pick in his career.
?With 5 receptions for 62 yards receiving today, Brandon Clark has posted 11 catches and 205 yards receiving over the last three games (68.0 ypg).
?With two catches for 32 receiving yards, Aaron Lockett passed Quincy Morgan and moved in to third on the K-State career receiving yards list. Lockett now has 2,186 yards receiving in his career.
