-- Kansas State started juniors Jarrett Hart and Frank Richards at the guard positions and seniors Gilson DeJesus, Pervis Pasco and Matt Seibrandt at the forward positions ... This is the only line-up used by the Wildcats this season ... Seibrandt and DeJesus have 56 and 24 starts under his belt ... Pasco has started all 40 games of his collegiate career.
-- This was the first meeting between K-State and Monmouth ... K-State is 7-3 all-time against teams from the Northeast Conference...The Wildcats have now won six in a row over current members of the Northeast Conference... The program is 2-1 all-time versus teams from the state of New Jersey.
-- With the win, Kansas State extended its winning streak to five games... The winning streak is the longest of the Jim Wooldridge era and the most in a row since the 1999-2000 season... The victory put the Wildcats three games above .500 after 11 games for the first time since 1999-2000... The win was also the fifth straight at home and the 11th in the last 13 for the Wildcats.
-- Kansas State won a game by less than 10 points for the first time this season... The Wildcats' previous six victories were all by double-digits... The team also moved to 7-0 when scoring 70 or more points.

-- For the first time this season Kansas State used a different starting line-up to start the second half... Junior guard Tim Ellis joined usual starters Gilson DeJesus, Pervis Pasco, Matt Seibrandt and Frank Richards on the court in place of Jarrett Hart.
-- Junior guard Tim Ellis tallied a career-high 21 points in the contest... The 21 points tied Gilson DeJesus (twice) for the most points scored by a Wildcat this season... He also registered a career-high three three-point field goals and tied his season-best with four rebounds... He now has at least one three-point basket made in all 11 games, including two or more in five contests.
-- Senior forward Pervis Pasco totaled a season-best 19 points in the contest on a perfect 9-of-9 from the field... The field goal percentage is the best by a Wildcat this season and just two away from the school record for highest field goal percentage set by Joe Wright and Eddie Elder during the 1984-85 season... Pasco has now scored in double-digits in six games, including the last five in a row.
-- Senior forward Gilson DeJesus collected a career-high 12 rebounds in the game... It marked the second straight game that DeJesus has broken or tied his career-high in rebounds...
