MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Pervis Pasco scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds andGilson DeJesus added 14 points to lead Kansas State past Saint Louis 65-48Thursday night.
Kansas State (8-4) pulled away from the Billikens (5-5) early in the secondhalf to win its sixth straight, the Wildcat's longest winning streak since1998.
Pasco's jumper with 17:56 remaining ignited a 12-0 Wildcat run that putKansas State up 48-28 with 14:17 left.
The Wildcats also won their fourth straight against the Billikens. SaintLouis has lost all three of its road games this season.
Matt Siebrandt added 13 for Kansas State and Tim Ellis had 10 in his firstcollege start. During the winning streak, Kansas State has had four playersscore in double figures in each game.
Anthony Drejaj scored 19 points and Chris Braun had nine for the Billikens.
The Wildcats outrebounded the Billikens 37-24 and held them to 36 percentshooting from the field. Kansas State has held its opponents below 40 percentshooting in nine games this season.
The Wildcats led by as many as 14 in the first half, but Marque Perry hit a3-pointer with 58.3 seconds to play to make it 36-25 at halftime. It was theonly shot made by Perry, who was averaging 17 points a game.
