Darren Sproles became the first rusher in
Sproles totaled 146 all-purpose yards in the game, marking the 23rd time in the last 25 games that he has collected 100+ all-purpose yards in a game... He now ranks first all-time in the category in school history with 4,022 yards, one yard behind the career all-purpose mark of 4,023 set by Aaron Lockett (1998-2001).
With his 22 yard touchdown run in the first quarter, Darren Sproles moved into a tie for second on the K-State career rushing touchdown list. He is now tied with Josh Scobey for 31 career rushing touchdowns. Sproles is also second on K-State's career touchdown list with 33.
With 313 yards passing today, Ell Roberson now has 4,508 on his career, moving him into fifth on the career passing list and ahead of Michael Bishop (4,401)" His fifth completion of the day moved him into seventh on the K-State career completion list, passing Johnathan Beasley (259). Roberson now has 270 completions on his career... Roberson's 11-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the 37th of his career, extending his career touchdown and career rushing touchdown mark. Roberson accounted for all 23 yards on the touchdown drive.
With 175 receiving yards today, James Terry now has 1,067 on the season, making him only the fourth Wildcat in school history to have over 1,000 yards in a season and the first since Quincy Morgan turned the feat in 2000 with 1,166 yards in 2000, which is also the single season record for the Wildcats. With today's outing, Terry is only 99 yards shy of the mark" Terry's 175 yards marks a career high and he now has 1,645 for his career and moves into seventh on the all-time list" With 56 receptions for his career, Terry is now tied with Kevin Lockett for sixth all-time with 56 receptions in a single season.
Senior DB James McGill's interception in the fourth quarter marked his team-leading fifth interception of the year... It also marked the sixth straight game in which the Wildcats have had an interception...
