On Jeremiah Massey’s play...
“He was our second-half man and he was the difference maker for us. He made a lot of plays, got the ball to the basket and rebounded it. We were able to defend and I thought we defended pretty consistently throughout the game. He was the guy who found a way to score the ball for us. We had some timely shots outside of Jeremiah, Tim (Ellis) made a big shot, Jarrett (Hart) made a big shot and Marques (Hayden) make an acrobatic lay-up. We had just enough offense to win the game.”

“I thought they played good defense, I really do. At the same time, we looked very unsure and some of the shots we were taking early on were off-balance. We scored really poised and then we had very little attack to how we were playing offensively in the first half. As it turned out in the second half, it was a possession game. We had just enough offense to win the game.”
On tonight’s game...
“We’ve come out of a hard-fought game and we’ve come out of a pretty rough three-game schedule. We have a brand new team and we have a lot of work to do in our nine days off. We have to get this team collected and evaluate where we are and ways we can improve. That’s a luxury we have right now and we will certainly take it.”
