  • Kansas State started seniors Tim Ellis, Frank Richards and Jarrett Hart at the guard positions and junior Jeremiah Massey and sophomore Marques Hayden at the forward spots...It marked the first game using this lineup... Richards has started every game of his Wildcat career, which now spans 37 games... Massey made his fourth start of the season and first since the Gardner-Webb game on Nov. 29.

  • With the victory, K-State improved its overall record to 6-1, while Texas A&M-Corpus Christi dropped to 4-4" The Wildcats are now 6-0 at Bramlage this season and have won seven straight dating back to a 77-70 loss to Missouri on Mar. 1, 2003... Head coach Jim Wooldridge is now 29-5 versus non-conference opponents at home and has won 13 straight home outings since falling 59-55 to Northwestern on Nov. 30, 2002.

  • The 39-point victory was the largest margin since a 43-point (88-45) drumming of Farleigh Dickenson on Dec. 29, 2001.

  • This was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

  • The Wildcats had five players score in double figures for the first time since Feb. 11, 2003 when K-State defeated Colorado 62-54.

  • The Wildcats recorded 25-plus assists (29) for the first time since notching 25 against Oregon State on Dec. 22, 2002...The school record for assists is 32, which was accomplished twice by the 1991-92 squad.

  • The 51 second-half points were the most by the Wildcats since scoring 51 points against Lipscomb Dec. 20, 2002.

  • The Wildcats connected on 8-of-20 three-point attempts...The last time K-State hit eight three balls was Feb. 8, 2003 versus Kansas.

  • Junior forward Jeremiah Massey scored 20-plus points for the third game in a row and hit double figures for the fifth time this season" He missed his third consecutive double-double by two rebounds.

  • Sophomore forward Marques Hayden notched his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds... It is his third career double-double.

  • Freshman forward Cartier Martin had a career high of 12 points and finished 4-of-10 from the field... His previous best was 10 points versus Oregon State.

  • Senior guard Tim Ellis’ five assists tied a personal best... Previously he had five assists against Central Florida on Jan. 6, 2003... He had four assists in the first half, which tied a season high (Lipscomb)" Ellis tallied double figures for the fifth time this season with 13 points and the first since dropping 16 versus Wyoming.

  • The 13 points by senior guard Jarrett Hart marked the fourth time of the season that he has hit for double figures" Hart tied a career and season high with three trays...He also hit three deep balls against Gardner-Webb.

  • No K-State opponent has shot better than 40 percent in a game this season" Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot .34.4 (21-61) for the game.
