MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Kansas State's Gilson DeJesus hit a 3-pointer with3:11 left to start a game-ending 11-0 run as the Wildcats beat Colorado 62-54Wednesday night.
Tim Ellis, Frank Richards, and Jarrett Hart led Kansas State with 11 points.Matt Siebrandt and Pervis Pasco each had 10 for the Wildcats (12-10, 3-6 Big12). Richards also had a game-high eight assists.
The win snapped the Wildcats' four-game losing streak.
Stephane Pelle, who had 12 of Colorado's 18 points in the first half,finished with 18 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Michel Morandais had 12points and David Harrison added 10.
Colorado (14-8, 4-5 Big 12) has lost all five of its Big 12 road games.
Kansas State went on an 8-0 run to start the second half and took itsbiggest lead at 37-24 with 14:10 remaining. Colorado took a brief lead at 45-41with 7:28 left after going on a 16-2 run.
Kansas State led 23-18 at halftime. Colorado had 12 turnovers in the firsthalf and 18 for the game.
