LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Andrew Drevo scored 19 points to lead four Nebraskaplayers in double figures Tuesday night as the Cornhuskers defeated KansasState 68-61.

Nebraska (10-16, 2-11 Big 12) snapped a nine-game losing streak. The Huskerswon for the first time since an 80-77 victory over Colorado on Jan. 18.

Kansas State (12-14, 3-10) lost its 13th straight Big 12 road game and hasnow lost eight of nine since defeating Nebraska 77-53 in Manhattan, Kan., onJan. 22.

Nebraska opened the second half with a 10-0 run to break a 34-34 tie, takinga 44-34 lead on Brennon Clemmons' steal, layup and free throw with 15:38 left.

The Wildcats responded with a 12-0 run of their own, going up 46-44 onPervis Pasco's dunk with 10:15 to play. Then Kansas State went cold, hittingjust one basket in the next nine minutes.

Nebraska took the lead for good on a Drevo 3-pointer with 7:04 left thatmade the score 50-49. The Huskers went up 55-49 on Clemmons' stumbling tosswith 4:38 left. Kansas State never got closer than four down the stretch as theWildcats missed 6 of their 16 free throws in the final 4? minutes.

Nate Johnson and Clemmons had 15 points apiece for the Huskers, and JohnTurek added 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Pasco led Kansas State with 16 points.
