Tickets Available for Catbacker Auction, Golf Tournament

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Tickets are now available for the 19th annual Catbacker Auction, to be held Friday, April 25 at Bramlage Coliseum.
Tickets are $50 per person for the event, which begins with a reception and silent auction at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Caribbean-themed dinner at 6:15 and the live auction at 7:45 p.m. Registration deadline for the auction is April 16.
Among the live items available this year are a sailing trip to the Virgin Islands, a fishing trip to the Amazon River in Brazil and a stay in a villa in St. Kitts. In all, some 40 items will be available at the live auction, with hundreds more at the silent auction.
In addition, registration is now open for the Catbacker Golf Tournament, to be held at Colbert Hills Golf Course.
Preregistration for the golf event is required and can be made by calling Erick Harper at 785-532-6910. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The entry fee is $175 and includes a continential breakfast, lunch and golf souvenir.
All proceeds for both events benefit the Ahearn Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for more than 350 student-athletes at Kansas State.
