On the play of Lance Harris...
“We are really pleased with how Lance (Harris) played for most of the game. He played with a lot of confidence, which he developed through the game, I think we all saw that. I hope that’s a real boast to him as we move into the regular season. That was a real positive for us. The 26 points he scored was a little surprise. All along we’ve seen the playmaking ability. He came out tonight, and I think the key this is he shot an airball, but he kept playing, made some good defensive plays, and made a variety of offensive plays beyond the line and at the free throw line. He’s got the tools and the skills to play good at this level.”
On hitting three-pointers...
“We will have different players do it (hit three-pointers). It might be a different player almost nightly. If we are successful, you will see us doing well behind the line. I think we can use the line well enough to have people guard us out there.”
On the play of Clent Stewart...
“I had not seen his line until just a few minutes ago. I thought he played outstanding, I know his line doesn’t show that. I thought he just played very well. He was very poised. I think, just as an all around basketball player, he’s very good. I think we will see a very good player develop.”
On the game...
“I thought at times we played well together. That was the theme going into the game with our players. We wanted to play the game better together on both ends of the floor. At times I pointed out to them during timeouts that what we did on the court was exactly what I wanted right there. I thought some of the things we did bad in
