In return, they'll receive.
The Wildcats are joining Fort Riley's Operation Santa Claus toy drive by requesting fans give a new toy or make a minimum cash donation of $5 when they enter Bramlage Coliseum for the 7 p.m., game.
Fans will be rewarded with a free admission into the game for each toy they donate. In addition, during the game K-State will be giving away selected "Holiday Packs" which include tickets to the men's games scheduled for December 21, 28, 30; January 3, and the women's game on January 2.
Operation Santa Claus is in its 9th year with soldiers from Fort Riley collecting toys and money to brighten the holidays for families in need at Fort Riley and in the Manhattan area. "Elves" from Fort Riley will be stationed at the Bramlage Coliseum entrances to receive toys prior to the Texas-San Antonio game.
As an added attraction, "Santa Willie" will make his annual appearance at the game. He will be available from 6 to 7 p.m., on the concourse of Bramlage Coliseum for autographs and photographs with children. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras.
