New Hampshire Defeats TSU In Wildcat Classic Consolation Game

MANHATTAN, Kan. In the consolation game of the Commerce Bank Wildcat Classic, New Hampshire defeated Tennessee State, 66-42, Saturday in Bramlage Coliseum.

Both teams were plagued early by missed shots, but New Hampshire (2-3) recovered in the second half shooting 53.8 percent (14-of-26). Ashley Cerniglia led the Wildcats with 14 points, five rebounds, three blocks and one assist. Her three 3-pointers and five free throws were game highs.

LaKisha Clay had a game-high 18 points for Tennessee State (3-3).
