Nine Wildcats Ink Free Agent Contracts with NFL Clubs
Apr 29, 2004 | Football
As of Wednesday, the transaction wires have been humming with K-Staters as nine Wildcats have signed contracts with NFL teams.
The free agent signees include: Josh Buhl and Brian Hickman with the Cleveland Browns, Thomas Houchin and Daniel Davis to the Indianapolis Colts, James Terry, Travis Wilson and Randy Jordan to the San Diego Chargers, Ryan Lilja to the Kansas City Chiefs and Andrew Shull to the Detroit Lions.
And the signings may not be done just yet. A number of other Wildcats, including quarterback Ell Roberson, defensive tackle Justin Montgomery, safety James McGill and tight end Thomas Hill could still be in the hunt to earn invitations to compete for spots with NFL clubs.
