Former Kansas State defensive back Kenny McEntyre named AFL Defensive Player of the Year

ORLANDO, Fla For an unprecedented third time in his career, Orlando Predators defensive specialist and former Kansas State Wildcat Kenny “The Glove” McEntyre has been selected as the Arena Football League’s top defender, as he was named ADT Defensive Player of the Year on Tuesday afternoon.
McEntyre had another sensational season with the Predators, leading the team in tackles (85.5), interceptions (9), pass defenses (11) and fumble recoveries (4). His nine interceptions tied for the league lead. McEntyre played a key role in helping pace the Predators to the league’s top rated defense, as
