K-State Trademark Licensing

The Kansas State Athletic Department in conjunction with Kansas State University has established a licensing program to protect and assist in distributing all trademarks used by Kansas State. A trademark is any logo, symbol, slogan or words registered by Kansas State University and/or Kansas State Athletics. Trademarks include the Powercat Logo, the K-State wordmark, the slogan K-State, Willie the Wildcat, and the use of any athletic specific images or slogans.
The licensing program at Kansas State has been established to provide manufacturers and consumers with the opportunity to produce, distribute and enjoy Kansas State University logos and slogans.
All revenue gained from the licensing program at Kansas State is used for students and student-athlete scholarships as well as university support groups.
Anyone wishing to use any of the trademarks registered by Kansas State Athletics must obtain a license. For information on how to obtain a license please contact

The Kansas State Athletics Department will assist CLC in giving final approval on all athletic specific items containing Kansas State trademarks.
