What’s your favorite movie?
“Top Gun. I grew up watching it as a young kid.”
Which do your prefer Peanut or Plain M&M's?
“Peanut.”
What is your first childhood memory of football?
“I remember in fourth grade I played for the Cowboys, and I had to play up a grade level because I weighed too much. And then we ended up going to the Gator Bowl.”
What do you love about football?
“I love the competition aspect, being with the team and trying to achieve a goal.”
What would be your ultimate SportsCenterhighlight?
“Picking up a fumble and scoring a touchdown.”
What is the most embarrassing CD that you have?
“N-SYNC. I haven't listened to it in forever, but I have it. “
If you could switch places with one person for a day, who would it be?
“Probably Coach Snyder. Just to see what his side of practice and a game is like.”
What is your favorite family vacation memory?
“Skiing in the Alps of Switzerland when I was in third grade.”
How many different places have you lived?
“My dad was in the military, so we've lived in 6 different states and in England. I was born in Germany, but grew up mostly in the U.S.”
What has been your favorite class?
“Probably Speech 2 or the class that I am taking right now, Introduction to Human Development.”
Not many people know that...
“I went to Creighton University for a semester, then transferred to K-State because I missed football too much and decided to walk-on. I got on the team by long-snapping, but I haven't long-snapped since I've been here. I've been playing defensive tackle instead.”
Who would be your Dream Date?
“Misty May.”
Who has influenced you the most off the field?
“My parents, because of their hard work, their dedication and the values that they have shown me that I can carry over.”
What’s your Dream Job?
“Being an anchor on SportsCenter or becoming a college football head coach.”
If you were stuck on a desert island, what three things would you bring?
“Probably water, a satellite radio, and a football.”
What is the best thing about your family?
“They love sports and they love getting together, watching games together, and going to the events together.”
What’s your favorite breakfast food?
“Ham and cheese omelets with lots of cheese.”
Are you organized or scatterbrained?
“I'm probably right in the middle. With some things I'm organized, but my room isn't organized.”
You recently got engaged. How did you propose to your fiancee?
“Over Spring Break, we went to Panama City Beach, Florida and stayed with a friend. We were on the beach earlier in the day and I wrote on the beach in the sand, 'Will you marry me?' And she wrote under that, 'With a ring.' Later that night, we were walking on the beach and I wrote it again. And she said 'I have to take a picture of this.' So she took a picture and when she turned around I was on my knee with a ring.”
If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would it be?
“The Real World. If I wasn't engaged, I might do it, but not now.”
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would they be?
“Lou Holtz and Bo Schembechler."
