MANHATTAN, Kan. Nearly 65 million households will have access to Saturday’s 103rd Sunflower State Showdown, according to the game’s clearance report released by Fox Sports Net Wednesday.
In addition to airing live in the Big 12 region on FSN Midwest and FSN Southwest, the game will also be available throughout much of the country, including on both coasts.
Saturday’s match-up between Kansas State and Kansas marks the first time since the 1998 Showdown that the game is being telecast as part of the Big 12’s weekly television package. Overall, it is just the seventh television broadcast in the 103 meetings between the Wildcats and Jayhawks.
For 2005, Saturday’s game will mark Kansas State’s third television appearance of the season.
