MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Lance Harris scored 19 points and Cartier Martin added 17 Wednesday night as Kansas State rolled to an 84-59 victory over Cal State-Fullerton.
Akeem Wright added 11 points and David Hoskins had nine for the Wildcats, who improved to 4-0 and have not allowed an opponent to score more than 60 points this season.
Vershan Cottrell had a career-high 15 points to lead Cal State-Fullerton. Bobby Brown added 14 points and five assists, but was only 6-of-21 from the field and 2-of-10 from beyond the 3-point arc.
The Titans (3-1) were going for only their third 4-0 start in 32 years of basketball and the first since 1989-90. But Harris, who had been mired in an early season slump, scored five points during an early 14-0 run to give Kansas State an 18-8 lead.
Cal State-Fullerton cut the lead to 5 with 1:53 to go in the half, but Martin drilled a 3-pointer and Dramane Diarra scored inside to push the lead back to double figures.
The Wildcats never led by less than 10 after that, extending the lead to 26 after Clent Stewart knocked down a 3-pointer with 4:49 left in the game.
The Titans, who had to take three buses more than 400 miles to Manhattan after beating South Dakota State on Monday, couldn't stop the Wildcats' hot shooting. Kansas State hit 51 percent of its shots while knocking down 8-of-18 3-pointers.
