Bedore, Moran named to TSN Big 12 All-Freshman Team

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State center Jordan Bedore and defensive tackle Alphonso Moran were named to The Sporting News 2005 Big 12 All-Freshman Team, the magazine announced today.
Bedore, who came to K-State as a defensive end, moved to defensive tackle during the spring and was ultimately pressed into service at center due to numerous injuries, thrived at the new spot this season. He made his first career start before sell-out crowd of 84,501 and a national television audience at Oklahoma and remained in the Wildcats' starting lineup the rest of the way, making eight starts in all.
Moran appeared in all 11 games and was the Wildcats' starter at one defensive tackle spot for the first seven games of the season. He finished the year with 21 tackles, including 2.5 behind the line of scrimmage and had his most productive outing of the season vs. Kansas with five tackles.
