Former Wildcat Michael Bishop Sets AFL Rushing Record

In his third AFL career start, Bishop rushed for 100 yards, breaking the previous single-game mark set by Major Harris (95 yards) in 1991 with the Columbus Thunderbolts (at Denver, July 6). Bishop broke the record with 17 seconds left in the third quarter when he galloped for a 31-yard touchdown.
The former Heisman Trophy runner up finished with six rushes for 100 yards (16.7 ypc) and two touchdowns. He passed for 258 yards and four touchdowns and two 2-point conversions.
