Kansas State announces 2005 football schedule

The Wildcats kickoff their 2005 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 3, when new Sun Belt Conference member Florida International comes to Manhattan for a first-time meeting with the Wildcats. Coached by former Miami Dolphins quarterback Don Strock, the Golden Panthers are coming off a 3-8 season in 2004, their first of a two-year transition period to Division I-A.
After a bye week on Sept. 17, the Wildcats close out non-league action against 2004 Sun Belt Champion North Texas. Coached by former K-State signal caller Darrell Dickey, the Mean Green is coming off a 7-5 campaign and a berth in the New Orleans Bowl.

The Wildcats will play their lone back-to-back home games during the following two weeks, when K-State welcomes Texas A&M to KSU Stadium on Oct. 22 and

Season ticket packages in reserved bench seating are priced at $285, while seating in the "End Zone Fun Zone", the general admission seating of the north end zone, will cost $185.
For the second straight year, K-State will offer its popular "Young Alumni" season ticket package for just $173 to recent K-State graduates who purchased season tickets during their time as students.
Student season tickets are priced at $143 and go on sale March 29, when the fall enrollment process begins through the K-State KATS system.
Single-game ticket prices for the non-conference games are $35 per game. The
Season ticket holders have a renewal payment deadline of April 6. K-State is again offering its customers the option of renewing their season tickets and ordering single-game tickets on-line through the athletics department web site at www.k-statesports.com.
