“It was just as tough, physical and aggressive as ever on every possession. It is just a classic match up of two teams that know each other extremely well. “That was just big. It was overdue. We had really squandered a lot of offensive possessions and we addressed it in the huddle. The team just came back out with a renewed sense of purpose in boarding the ball and getting some stops. Really, we were able to initiate some transition game there during that period of time what I thought more than anything really keyed off of a higher level of defense and some really aggressive board work. Once you create a couple of really easy basketball opportunities for yourself, it changes the feel of the game. We really attacked at that point in time and I think that we really sensed they were really fatigued.”

“I thought in the first half in particular, Kimberly was one of the more productive and efficient offensive players that we had. Defensively, she had a large share of the load of working to defend (Kiera) Hardy and did just a great job with that. Anytime Hardy leaves the floor and hasn’t topped 20-or-25 points, you know you have done something special defensively. Kimberly really got us a good start there. We rotated during the course of the game with both Twiggy (McIntyre) and Shalee (Lehning) on her as well. I think that helped us. Probably that foundation key in the defense of Hardy was Kimberly.”
