FSN to Air K-State Spring Game Special

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State fans can relive of the excitement of the Wildcats' historic 2006 Purple and White spring game that was played before a crowd of nearly 32,000 fans at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in a 30-minute special on Fox Sports Net Midwest that begins airing this weekend.
The show will air six times during the months of May and June, including its initial cablecast on Saturday, May 20, at 5 p.m. (CDT), and will also preview the upcoming 2006 season, K-State's first under new head coach Ron Prince.
In addition to the game highlights and 2006 preview, the special will also include:
- A one-on-one interview with coach Prince
- Behind-the-scenes chats with senior linebackers Brandon Archer and Zach Diles, senior running back Thomas Clayton and junior wide receiver Jordy Nelson
- Mic'd up segments from the game with offensive coordinator James Franklin and defensive coordinator Raheem Morris.
- Sideline interviews with former Wildcats
Kansas State's spring game special will re-air on Tuesday, May 23, at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 1, at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at 8 p.m., Sunday, June 11, at 2 p.m., and Tuesday, June 20, at 1 p.m.
The Wildcats will kick off their 2006 season on Saturday, Sept. 2, when K-State hosts Illinois State at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in the first of a four-game, season-opening homestand that also includes Florida Atlantic (Sept. 9), Marshall (Sept. 16) and Louisville (Sept. 23).
FSN Midwest reaches more than 4.3 million cable and satellite television homes in six states and telecasts more than 2000 hours of local programming each year.
FSN is also a television home of Big 12 football.
